Our Story
The Clever Cup Coffee & More is locally owned by coffee lover Edgar de la O and international jewelry artist Tracy Jones-De Chevron Villette. Edgar spent his 20’s writing scripts and drinking outstanding coffee in New York City, and Tracy relocated to Sarasota after a decade as a jewelry designer in England, France and Tokyo. The two bring their passions together to create this unique cafe and store featuring the area’s best locally roasted coffee and some of Europe’s up and coming jewelers and artists.

Edgar Del-La-O Owner & Baristi
A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Art's, Edgar spent his 20's writing scripts and drinking outstanding coffee in New York City. He returned home to Sarasota in 2005 and has always dreamed of owning a business that serves the community he loves.
Tracy Jones-De Chevron Villette Owner & Jewelry Designer
Tracy relocated to Sarasota after a decade as a jewelry designer in England, France and Tokyo. After meeting Edgar and Lindsey through a play date with their children, the families became friends and identified their desire to create a unique cafe and store in their neighborhood featuring the area's best locally roasted coffee and some of Europe's up and coming jewelers and artists.
